A matinee social that attracts a large crowd of very good dancers. A lot of dancers from the Super Mario classes attend, so you can be sure that there will be lots of people with good technique.
There are no classes or performances at this event so you can social dance until you drop.
There are 3 rooms to dance in with different music in each:
- Room 1: Salsa/Mambo/Cha Cha
- Room 2: Salsa Romantica
- Room 3: Mambo/Cha Cha
It’s a very popular event, so the dancefloor can become busy, particularly in the main room.
The Good
- Cheap and fun – only £10
- A large venue with lots of space
- Changing rooms with lockers and showers
The Bad
- Use of lockers is mandatory. Don’t forget a £1 coin.
- Temperature in the main room can get a bit high
